There's an interesting post over at Smart Bitches, Trashy Books about the dearth of good (or any) lesbian romances published. There's lots of straight and gay male stuff out there, but the people discussing the topic are having a hard time coming up with much lesbian stuff. The one traditional regency romance that happens to be lesbian that was mentioned is Pembroke Park, which I've decided I need to read in order to be a completist.
I've run across some gay romance (usually with ludicrous covers that make me want to run screaming in the other direction) and bi and gay erotica, but I've never read, or even come across, a lesbian romance. I'll let you know how Pembroke Park is when I finish it.
Anyone else know any other good lesbian romances?
