Dear Blog,
It's been two weeks since I last posted. It's been a crazy few weeks as I've been busy at work tying up loose ends and at home frantically getting ready. Yes, it's finally time! After years of talking and saving and over half a year of preparing, I'm finally flying off to New Zealand! Tomorrow morning I fly out to Los Angeles and meet up with my artist/chef friend from Edmonton and we're flying to Auckland via Fiji. We're going on a 26 day adventure tour of both islands with Haka Tours.
I leave at 9 am tomorrow and get in at 2 pm on Saturday - thank you International Dateline.
So even though I've been lax in posting this past little while, it's not going to get any better in the next month. I might post along the way, depending on internet access and busyness. If you're one of my friends on Flickr, I'm going to try to post pictures as I go.
